Responsibilities:
Perform venipunctures and skin punctures on patients of all ages, ensuring the collection of high-quality blood specimens for testing. Verify patient information and identity before performing blood draws, maintaining accuracy in labeling and documentation. Provide clear instructions to patients regarding pre-test preparations and post-test care. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols during all procedures to ensure the well-being of both patients and staff. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure proper specimen handling, transportation, and processing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of hazardous materials. Perform office functions including filing, distribution of confidential reports, inventory of supplies, and scheduling patient appointments. Keep up-to-date with best practices and industry standards in phlebotomy techniques and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Working Hours:
